Coronary Angiogram

This is also known as a cardiac catheterisation.  This procedure allows the doctor to look inside the coronary arteries and find out where and how severe, any narrowed areas are.  It will help the doctor decide what treatment may be required and it can also provide information about blood pressure and how effectively the heart is pumping.
